5.25.12
- This week at the TW picked up right where it left off. Brakes were an issue in warm-ups, but were fixed by heat race time. JB started 6th in the third heat race and finished 4th. Due to the Spring Championship pill draw rule, JB started in 11th in the feature. The race started well as JB navigated his way up to 9th by lap 15. On the following turn, the night went south as JB was hit hard by another car. The hit put the 7C out of the race for the second week in a row. HARD CHARGING AT THE TW
5.11.12
- JB and crew gave the big TW another go round on Friday night and once again qualifying was an issue. Week in and week out the 7C has been really fast, but heat race issues resulted in poor finishes. JB started 3rd in his heat and was collected in accident and was given a DNF 8th place. With that finish, it put Cunningham in the 24th starting spot for the A-main. Like usual, JB fired his way through the field but simply ran out of laps. JB finished 12th and was presented with the Big Mike's Crab House Hard Charger Award for the 2nd time this year.

8TH AT TRAIL-WAY
4.13.12
- JB and the 7C Racing Team returned to the Big TW on Friday night and had problems right off the bat. The motor wasn't running right, so the team sat out of the heat races and ran back to the shop to pick up another motor. The team bolted the 2nd motor in the 7C and JB took it out and started last in the feature. Cunningham drove a strong race, finished 8th and picked up the Big Mike's Hard Charger Award.

JB passed the leader once but the caution came out and was restarted in 2nd. Cunningham continued to work the 7c up beside the leader multiple times throughout the 25 laps race but just couldn't get the car hold on to complete the pass. The following turn JB was collected in a multiple car tangle and had enough front end damage to call it a night. That was the bad part. He was credited with 18th place, but was overall happy with the progress made in the race.

FRONT ROW AT LINCOLN
4.23.11 - Friday night at the TW was rained out once again, so JB and company towed the 7C to Lincoln Speedway on Saturday night. With the top 5 cars from each heat advancing, JB was locked in and scheduled to start on the front row, 2nd starting spot of A-main. During the caution JB was able to open and clear the shield. In the remaining laps with the now visible shield, JB managed to pass 2 more cars for a 10th place finish. The goal was simply to get some much needed seat time and get use to the car and its personality. This marked attempt number two on the season for JB and company at Lincoln Speedway and this one went much better. Thirty-two fast 358 Sprints lined up the pits ready to duke it out for the twenty-four A-main starting spots. JB started up front in the first heat race and looked good, but fought a tight handling race car and slipped back to finish 6th. Only the top 5 from each heat advanced, so JB landed in the consolation race where the top four would advance to the A-main. Running another hard race, but this time with a better handling race car; JB finished 3rd after starting 1st. In the A-main, JB started 23rd and steered clear through 20 tough laps and got a well deserved 15th place finish. The team made a lot of changes to the car for the feature and it really paid off. The entire 7C team were very happy to get their first complete race under their belts.

BAD LUCK AT LINCOLN

JB started 9th in the third heat race and ran a great race and finished in the 5th spot. Top 6 finishers from each heat advanced to the A-main. JB was scheduled to start 20th, but had to scratch from the feature due to a broken liter in the engine.
